PocketOps LLC ("we", "our", "us") operates the Sage: The Fasting Coach mobile application ("Sage", "the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Data You Provide

When you use Sage, you may provide the following information:

  • Name (optional) — used to personalize your coaching experience
  • Fasting sessions — start times, end times, and duration of your fasts
  • Meal entries — meal names, tags, and notes you log
  • Weight entries — weight values and unit preference
  • Fasting preferences — your selected protocol, eating window, rest days, fasting goal, experience level, and biggest challenge
  • Chat messages — messages you send to the Sage AI coach

Data Stored on Your Device

All of the data listed above is stored locally on your device only using on-device storage. We do not have access to this data, cannot retrieve it, and it is not uploaded to our servers. If you delete the App, this data is permanently removed.

Data Shared with Third-Party Services

When you use the AI coaching feature, the following data is sent to our AI service provider to generate personalized responses:

  • Your chat messages
  • Your fasting goal, experience level, and biggest challenge
  • A summary of your recent fasting sessions and meal entries
  • Your current fasting protocol and eating window settings

This data is sent only when you actively use the coaching feature and is used solely to generate your coaching response. It is not stored by the AI service provider beyond what is needed to process your request.

Subscription and Payment Data

Sage offers subscription plans managed through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform, which receives anonymized purchase data from Apple to verify your subscription status.

Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect your email address, phone number, or physical address
  • We do not collect location data
  • We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes
  • We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

Data Retention

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete all data at any time using the "Reset all data" option in the App's Settings screen. Uninstalling the App will also permanently delete all locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

Sage is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Security

Your data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). Data sent to the AI coaching service is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
