These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Sage: The Fasting Coach mobile application ("Sage", "the App") operated by PocketOps LLC ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Use of the App

Sage is a fasting tracking and AI coaching application. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
  • Use the AI coaching feature to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or violates any laws
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the App or any content generated by it

Health Disclaimer

Sage is designed for general wellness and informational purposes only. The App, including the AI coaching feature, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The information and guidance provided by Sage should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.

You should consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any fasting program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, are under 18, or take medication. If you experience any adverse symptoms while fasting, stop immediately and seek medical attention.

We are not responsible for any health consequences resulting from your use of the App or following any guidance provided by the AI coaching feature.

Subscriptions and Payments

Sage offers auto-renewing subscription plans that provide access to the App's features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions)
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
  • Prices may vary by region and are determined by Apple based on your App Store country

AI Coaching

The Sage AI coaching feature generates responses based on your fasting data, meal entries, and stated goals. While we strive to provide helpful and relevant guidance:

  • AI-generated responses may not always be accurate or appropriate for your specific situation
  • The AI coach is not a licensed nutritionist, dietitian, or medical professional
  • Responses are generated by third-party AI services and may vary in quality
  • We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the AI coaching feature

Your Data

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

All fasting, meal, and weight data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the App or use the "Reset all data" feature, this data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. We are not responsible for any data loss.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, content, and branding, is owned by PocketOps LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PocketOps LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or health outcomes, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
